This is Debate Nation. The internet’s only source of calm, honest, reasonable, unbiased, truthful, helpful, constructive debate. We are interested in solutions to problems to bring people together, not harmful, divisive rhetoric that tears us apart. We believe most people want what’s best for the country, there are just different, reasonable, views on how best to get there.
It’s also about to be my only social media presence on the internet.
Who am I, you ask? And I’m glad you did.
My name is David Lester. I’m a human male. I’m a husband, a father, a step-father, a brother, a son, a Choctaw Native American, and an uncle. I like playing board games, PC games, console games. I used to play soccer, I probably still would if I ever decide to get back in shape. I like playing tennis, and cornhole. I like to throw darts and love playing pool.
I like debating people on all kinds of topics. I’m an agnostic (or atheist if you’re nasty) so I like debating religion. I like to think I’m a libertarian when it comes to politics, but I think that just means I’m socially liberal and fiscally conservative.
I try to keep my cool when we’re having productive dialogue, but if you just want to be a sarcastic jerk or refuse to think outside your bubble, I can sometimes turn up the sarcasm to a level that makes me feel guilty. I have a limit just like everyone else, it’s just been harder and harder to reach it over time. Maybe you’ll get me there again. If so, I’ll buy you a coffee.
